Everyone and their Mom is looking for love these days.
Love elevates and validates you, I think. That's why people are searching for it so desperately.
Me? I have found true love, and it changes with the seasons.
I find love in my sister who is always there and is always loyal to me, who bakes me cakes and sends me pictures of Joey, who despite her pain is growing up to be a real, virtuous woman! Something I am yet to accomplish. I find love in my Da, he has the most amazing smile! It lights up his whole face. I find love in Mommy (she likes when I call her that) I just love the way she loves me! I find love in Edi, we fight all the time, but know that when I get myself into any of my numerous scruples, I can count on him to bail me out! I find love in Ifle, we don't talk as often as we used to, but when I look at him, I see pieces of me.
I find love in my Man. He looks at me and I feel like a whole different person! Utterly desirable, and the best thing that's happened to him.
I find love in Esther, my neighbour's little one. Her chubby cheeks, her little dimple and her amazing, innocent eyes captured my heart from day one! I find love in her Ma, who won't see me for a few days and worry about me. I find love in my friends, they change from time-to-time, but they'll have my back while it lasts.
I find love in my boys, they keep me grounded and they get me.
I find love on Friday nights in the cosy depths of the Kioupourouglou's, amidst cooking, eating, gossip, sipping on wine, singing and generally having the time of me life!
I find love in living churches. The togetherness and the familiarity of it all. The warmth. The love.
I find love in my work. The smile on a satisfied customer's face is worth more than a few coins in the bank.
This is love to me, for now.

Bienvenue!
For years on end, I have written on so many surfaces. Papers, wood, Paper Napkins, my school books and the list goes on. I wrote a lot on facebook as well, and was told to blog several times, so i'm doing just that.
I am 29 years old, even though I feel way older sometimes and I have a penchant for speaking my mind.
I have weird and persistent thoughts and when it gets too much, I just have to put it down.
I am also an Aries and a Sanguine, I hear we aren't exactly famous for finished projects or continuancy(new word!) but I am really going to try to update this blog as much as possible.
O! And Saoirse means Freedom in Irish. I love the name and what it represents to me.
I will definitely write a bit more, but later on.
Besos
